Why Build

Build / Construction

Understanding all of the moving pieces helps to clarify why build. Demographic, area compatibility, future value, solar orientation, covenant compliance, setbacks, materials, low maintenance, quality. Being a building company we have seen it all.

Experience of both good and bad

Maybe you can learn from both. As a second generation builder with 20 plus years experience his own right you would think this would be second nature by now for Darren. In actual fact he’s still learning and maybe you can use experience to help you start the journey of home building. Not only have we been lucky enough to help more than 800 customers into their own homes over the years but having built and renovated our own homes we have seen just about everything to be seen in regards to finance, land and building.

Passing the Parent Test . 3 Complex facets that should work together

The 3 facets of finance, land (Location) and build (construction) have been separate processes and create a myriad of unnecessary complications or confusions for a purchaser. We understand that there is a lot of benefit in just optimising these components for your circumstances. The old way of doing things in separate silos is just not producing great
outcomes.

Understanding Land

Land / Location

Covenants, location, services, connections, setbacks, flood zoning, area growth, capital growth, orientations. Lot type, site size
This is the next layer of complexity. The traditional logic says we run off to a land developer and see how we go… In actual fact
what are their motivations? We understand how to put a home on that land and what might suit how your family actually live.

The limitations of that block

Perhaps not immediately apparent however easements, retaining walls, services and setbacks all vary and can have a dramatic impact on the design and build outcome on otherwise a similar looking blocks of land. Which one block should I choose?
